1968 Cadillac Coupe Deville

This 1968 Cadillac Coupe Deville was the poster child of peak performance back in its prime. When this Caddie was new, it provided the everyday man with top of the line creature comforts with big block performance. Fast forward 50 years and this road warrior was in need of some major updates. Lonestar Horsepower was tasked with keeping the sleek classic look of this Cadillac, while providing it with a modern power train that you would find in today’s vehicles. LHP Installed a new TSP LS crate engine that produces 385 wheel horsepower with a built 4L60E RPM Transmission mated behind the engine. We upgraded the vehicles cooling system with the latest offerings from Griffin Radiators and integrated modern A/C technology to work with the original Cadillac air conditioning controls. JD Glassworks integrated a Dakota digital dash to modernize the gauge cluster and added an impressive stereo system that looks factory. The final goal for this build was to allow the originality of this Iconic classic to shine and not be overshadowed by its modern upgrades. Unless you took time to look under the hood you’d never know this classic Caddie was so cutting edge.
